The First American Christmas Beer Since Prohibition (San Francisco, CA) – Since 1975 beer lovers have eagerly awaited the release of Anchor Brewing’s annual Christmas Ale with its distinctive, hand-drawn tree label artwork and secret recipe that changes every winter. Now in its 45th year, Anchor’s 2019 Christmas Ale is a 6.9% ABV Winter Warmer with toasted caramel and coffee notes that are rounded out with herbaceous spices.
