We love this time of year. The nights get colder and the beers get more robust…And with the nation’s temperatures cooling this weekend, we’ve five buzz-worthy drinking directions that you might want to chase down.

Sang Soars! (Portland, OR) – Cascade Brewing just returned one of the brewery’s most anticipated Northwest sours which serves as the foundation of Cascade’s Sang Series. A blend of sour red ales,  Cascade Sang Rouge 2015 is a 7.8% ABV Red Ale creation that was aged to perfection in select red wine barrels and oak puncheons for up to 24 months!

Miles To Go (Milton, DE) – Dogfish Head is returning a new variation of their beloved Imperial Stout which was originally brewed as a homage to Miles Davis’ 1970 landmark jazz-rock record, Bitches Brew. Aged and blended in giant oak and Palo Santo wood tanks, which enriched its chocolatey-licorice wood aromas, Dogfish Head Wood-Aged Bitches Brew is  pitch-black 9% ABV Imperial Stout with a sweet, roasty, coffee flavor finish.

Fan Fav To Year Round (Athens, GA) – Terrapin Beer has a new year-round addition that was first introduced as part of their Krunkles Series of IPAs. Inspired by a Hawaiian drink called POG (a mix of passionfruit, orange, and guava flavors), Terrapin Luau Krunkles is a  6.5% ABV tropical fruit-flavored IPA named after Krunkles, a legendary IPA brewer who may, or may not even be real.

Lone Tree Horchata Stout is a 6% ABV homage to Mexico’s popular rice and almond milk drink that was crafted with chocolate, cinnamon, and lactose….And it’s hitting retail in 22oz bombers this week.

Express Yourself (Newport, KY) –  Braxton Labs will soon be releasing its first barrel-aged beer in bottles EVER!. Debuting on January 20th,  Braxton Labs Bourbon Barrel Aged Oatmeal Stout is an 11.7% ABV wood-aged Imperial Stout infused with Carabello Coffee Tandem Espresso.
