Vermont Brewers Festival Returns
An important part of any great beer festival is its setting. Yes the beer served remains vitally important, but great beer in a spectacular locale makes things special… For that reason alone we couldn’t be more excited that the Vermont Brewers Festival is returning to the shores of Lake Champlain overlooking the Adirondack Mountains (July 21-23).
The Vermont Brewers Festival is one of the premier beer festivals in the world. And with the exception of a two-year pandemic hiatus in 2022 and 21, this legendary has been held on the third weekend of July every year since it first launched in 1991. Hosted by the Vermont Brewers Association this year marks the 28th anniversary of the festival, making it one of the longest-running beer events in the nation.
The 2022 Vermont Brewers Festival will feature more than 50 of the region’s most dynamic breweries including New England heavy hitters, players like The Alchemist and Burlington favs like Zero Gravity and Switchback Brewing.

BrewDog Hides Cash In Cans in UK
Let’s start with the obvious, no there’s not really actual cash (in this case British pounds) hidden away in 59 special variety 12-Packs over in the UK. But there are special cans indicating that you’ve won some serious cash.
The top cash in the giveaway is £10,000 (that’s more than $12,000 dollars US) but there’s only one of those, followed by two special cans worth £5,000, four cans that will bag you £1,000 and 52 prizes of £500.
“Summer is our favorite season at BrewDog, so we’re kicking it off with a bang,” said Lauren Carrol, director of brand & marketing at BrewDog. “59 lucky winners stand to win cold, hard cash, just by purchasing our delicious beers. BrewDog’s special cash cans come with instructions on how to claim the prize in each pack. But be careful, all prizes must be claimed by October 21, 2022.
