2023 is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the new year with exciting new beers you’re gonna want to have around.
Temptation Vacation (Dallas, TX) – Lakewood Brewing is a family-owned, independent craft brewery making seriously fun beer just outside of Dallas… Lakewood exploded onto the DFW brewing scene in 2012 and became famous for its Temptress Imperial Milk Stout the best-selling stout in all of Texas. And they’ve another tasty Temptress variation that takes its lead from the world’s most beloved hazelnut and cocoa spread.
Part of the brewery’s ever-evolving Seduction Series, Lakewood Nutemptress is a 9.1% ABV Nutella-flavored Imperial Stout infused with hazelnut and chocolate from YeliBelly Chocolates, an award-winning, small-batch artisan chocolate company in Addison, Texas.
Spruced Up (Boulder, CO) – Upslope Brewing has an interesting limited release that’s brewed with fresh pine needles which add bright woodland notes to the already hop-forward brew. Crafted with spruce tips, snowmelt, premium American malt, lemon and orange peel, as well as Cascade and Simcoe hops, Upslope Spruce Tip IPA is a 7.5% ABV India Pale Ale that pairs nicely with ski slopes and winter.
Stout Stuff (Denver, C)) – Non-Alcoholic beers have come a long way’s since your uncle used to order an O’Doul’s. And now there’s a non-alcoholic brewer that was awarded the Gold Medal for the Non-Alcoholic Beer category at the 2022 World Beer Cup Awards for its lager.
But Gruvi makes all kinds of uber-convincing non-alcoholic brews including this new Discovery Series release that may be the first nitro-infused buzz-free beer that we’ve run into.
