Beer Alert: New India Pale Ales and Imperial Stouts

With Labor Day now well behind us, there’s no avoiding it, fall is on the way. And brewers are addressing the changing seasons with smart beer offerings you’re gonna want have around.

Crushable (Paso Robles, CA) – Firestone Walker Brewing has a new Mind Haze IPA variation that’s available, along with two others, as part of the Mind Haze Tropical Hazy Mixed Pack. Double dry hopped with twice the amount of hops than usual, Firestone Mind Haze Hopical Crush IPA is a 6.2% ABV Hazy India Pale Ale that delivers an exotic hop-fueled burst of tropical Mai Tai-inspired pineapple and orange flavors.

This abundantly hopped Mind Haze variation begins by heightening the original’s hop blend with the Strata cultivar, which adds more pungent fruit tones and a touch of dank cannabis-like character.

Made Of Stout Stuff (Grand Rapids, MI) – Founders Brewing has announced the latest KBS flavored barrel-aged beer which will become available throughout the US in 4-packs of 12oz bottles and on draft beginning in October. Fathoms Deep (Chico, CA) – Sierra Nevada Brewing is returning a fall favorite that was inspired by the mysterious creature that thrives in the deepest fathoms of the frigid Arctic Ocean. Ideal for slow sipping and cool evening campfires, Sierra Nevada Narwhal Imperial Stout is a pitch black 10.2% ABV seasonal with a malt-forward complexity, a velvety smooth body and decadent finish.
