Fall is just around the corner and American craft brewers are addressing things with an interesting roster of new releases you’re gonna want to have around.
New Wave (Minneapolis, MN) – Indeed Brewing has a new addition to its Flavorwave Series that we can’t wait to get our hands on. Brewed with an abundance of the juiciest, headiest hops, Indeed Tidalwave Double IPA is a 9.1% ABV India Pale Ale with a hazy mix of citrus and sweet fruit notes that linger.
“Our Flavorwave IPA quickly became a fan favorite in our beer lineup, but we wanted to kick it up a notch,” said Ryan Bandy, Indeed Brewing Company’s Chief Business Officer. “The release of Tidalwave Double IPA marks an exciting milestone for the Flavorwave brand family and for fans of our flagship IPA.”

No Place Like Home (Wells, ME) – Batson River Brewing & Distilling, a unique independent craft brewery in Maine, is celebrating its own backyard with a new beer that uses only locally sourced ingredients. Crafted using exclusively sourced ingredients from local partners such as Blue Ox Malt House, Champlain Valley Hops, and The Hop Yard, Batson River Home Fields is a 5.3% ABV Pale Ale with a crisp malt character, a robust hop profile and distinct notes of fresh pine and lemongrass.
“This special recipe celebrates the exceptional quality of ingredients right here in our backyard,” said Batson River Operations Director, Jon Quade. “Home Fields Pale Ale not only represents our roots but also demonstrates the mutual benefits when local partners collaborate.”
The Dopest (Inglewood, CA) – Crowns & Hops, the first Black-Owned, Woman-Owned and Veteran-owned brewery based out of Inglewood was founded by Beny Ashburn and Teo Hunter in 2018 and they’ve a beer that has become our go-to IPA at the American Craft Beer compound.
Aptly named, using urban slang which describes “something that is amazing,” Crowns & Hops The Dopest is a 6.8% ABV double dry-hopped Hazy India Pale Ale with notes of citrus and sweet fruit balanced with mild woodiness and pine, that gives way to a creamy, smooth mouthfeel.
In 2024 Crowns & Hops was the recipient of Samuel Adam’s Brewing & Business Experienceship mentorship program held in Boston. This unique event, held on June 7th, featured Crowns & Hops Brewing and five other finalists from across the nation, all serving their best and Beny and Teo showcased The Dopest that award-winning evening.
