With October almost here, there’s no avoiding it, fall is on the way. And American craft brewers are addressing the changing seasons with exciting offerings you’re gonna want have around.

Elation Nation (Asheville, NC) – With things getting cooler, soon the leaves will start turn and High Wire Brewing is addressing these changes with a special seasonal IPA. Crafted with Michigan Chinook and Idaho 7 hops for a bigger hop-forward flavor, Hi-Wire Elated Winter IPA is a 6.1% ABV India Pale Ale that perfectly balances sticky caramel and toasted bread notes with an aggressive hop-forward character.

Marmalade Made (San Diego, CA) – AleSmith Brewing has returned a popular limited release with a robust aromatics reminiscent of marmalade. Crafted with Aloha and Sabro hops, AleSmith Tropical Marmalade Hazy IPA is a 7.1% ABV India Pale Ale which will become widely available in October through the end of 2021.

“We’re excited for Tropical Marmalade to make a return to our seasonal lineup,” says Ryan Crisp, Head Brewer and Director of Brewery Operations at AleSmith. “It was a staff favorite from 2019, so we had to bring it back. With the tropical hop blend and flavors, plus a smooth finish, this is a perfect beer.”

The Marathon’s Cancelled But Not The Beer (Lewiston, ME) – Maine’s Mount Desert Island marathon, held every year in October, was recently canceled for the second year in a row due to COVID-19.  But the official beer of the Sea to Summit race series will still be getting its own commercial run.
