July is ON and American craft brewers celebrating things with new beer gear and an ever-changing roster of beers that match the moment.

Dale’s Denim Beer Cans & Apparel Return (Longmont, CO) -Oskar Blues Brewery, home to Dale’s Pale Ale, the first craft beer in a can returning it’s limited-edition Denim Dale’s cans, which celebrate an iconic wardrobe staple, American blue jeans.

Available nationwide from Memorial Day through Labor Day, this new edition of Denim Dale’s will be featured in classic blue denim cans for Dale’s Pale Ale and light-washed white denim for Dale’s Light Lager.

“Last year’s denim beer case was a statement of rebellious independence – and people got it. This year, we wanted to take it even further,” says Aaron Baker, Oskar Blues Brand Director. “So we wrapped the can itself in denim. It’s a celebration of individuality, utility, and American grit – all things denim and Dale’s share at their core.”

Also debuting this summer will be additions to the Denim Dale’s line of limited edition merchandise, including denim pants, additional washes of the beloved jean jacket and a premium belt buckle. Dale’ Denim Collection will be sold online and in the Oskar Blues taprooms in North Carolina and Colorado while supplies last.

Hammer Time (San Diego, CA) – AleSmith Brewing is celebrating its 30th anniversary (yep, it’s been that long) with a new Speedway  Barrel-Aged Stout variation that gets aggressive with coffee. Inspired by the eye-opening Hammerhead coffee drink, (a shot of espresso added to brewed coffee) AleSmith Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout: Hammerhead Edition (2025) is a massive 13.46 Imperial Stout with layers of vanilla, spice, and dried fruit tones, that was  brewed with a blend of crushed Ethiopian and espresso beans for an intense coffee flavor.

This from AleSmith…

“Some would argue that Speedway Stout, easily one of the finest coffee-infused imperial stouts in the world, needs no embellishment, that this burly yet beguilingly smooth and easy-drinking beer is perfect on its own. We’re not ones to disagree, but a thirst for experimentation leads us to tinker with our recipes—even those of the highest order.”

In the case, we endeavored to maximize java intensity as baristas do with the classic coffee-house offering, the “hammerhead,” in which a shot of espresso is added to a cup of coffee. For this beer, we take our already coffee-rich Speedway Stout and add a plentiful dose of crushed Ethiopian and espresso beans. The result is a sultry, velveteen beer with eye-opening bite”
