Spring is coming and American craft brewers are addressing things with a full slate of new beer offerings to help you weather the transition.

Pulp Art (Brooklyn, NY) – Brooklyn Brewery is doubling down of its first widely distributed hazy IPA in 2021, Pulp Art Hazy IPA. Crafted with a smart medley Citra, Sultana and Sabro hops, Brooklyn Pulp Art Hazy Double IPA is an 8% ABV soft yet powerful India Pale Ale that takes the original in an even bolder tropical direction.

“The Double Pulp Art brings more of what we all loved about our original Pulp Art, bigger bolder flavors, juicier aromas, a rounder palate and bracing bitterness to balance it all out,” describes Brewmaster Garrett Oliver. “Its flavors range towards the tropicality of pineapple and stone fruit flavors, especially peach and apricot. The combination of the hops with our special yeast strain produces rich aromatics and depth.”

A Little Classic (Boulder, CO) – Avery Brewing has a new addition to one of its most popular flagships, White Rascal. Crafted with authentic Belgian yeast and a traditional malt bill of 50% wheat, and Citron Limon, Meyer lemon, and Lemondrop hops,  Avery Little Rascal is a sessionable 4.5% ABV Belgian-Style White Ale with a hazy straw color and a subtle citrus finish.

Batter Up (San Diego, CA) – AleSmith Brewing Company is ramping up for the start of baseball season with the spring release of the hazy cousin of the brewery’s iconic .394 Pale Ale, which was first launched in 2014.  Brewed to honor the memory of “Mr. Padre” himself, Tony Gwynn and the memorable batting average he achieved in 1994, AleSmith Hazy .394 is a 6% ABV India Pale Ale that we have to admit is a total home run.

“This hazy version of our classic .394 has a more intense aroma of citrus and tropical fruit, as well as a pleasant hazy appearance and a creamy finish,” says Ryan Crisp, Head Brewer at AleSmith. “Beer and baseball go hand-in-hand and we’re excited for Hazy .394 to return in time for the 2022 Padres season.”
