Beer Run – The Spring IPA Edition
Beer Run – The Spring IPA Edition
Spring has arrived with a vengeance…And so have a parade of new and exciting IPA’s that you need to check out!
Viceland (San Leandro, CA) – Drake’s Brewing is like many of us, prone to an occasional vice, and their shameless commitment to hops, clearly is one of them, which makes their newest limited release, all the more troubling. Drake’s Hop Vice is their latest excess, a 6.2% ABV hazy White IPA that they’re totally unapologetic about.
An Earth Day Organic (Fortuna, CA) – Eel River Brewing just released a huge new spring seasonal that’s doubly organic. Brewed with the highest quality organic ingredients from the Pacific Northwest, Earth Thirst is a pungent8.2% Double IPA that was hand-crafted with the health of the planet in mind.
Resident Hop Monster At 20 (Frederick, MD) – It’s hard to believe that Flying Dog’s legendary IPA has turned 20 – clearly time flies when you’re having a good time! In case you’ve forgotten, Flying Dog Snake Dog is that 7.1% “good time” and even better, it can be had all year round!
Spring Strawberries And Mint (Boulder, CO) – Upslope Brewing has a new Tap Room Series that’s spring-ready. Brewed using a carefully curated menu of spring strawberries, peppermint and hops, Upslope Strawberry Mint IPA is a BIG 7.5% India Pale Ale that’s available now in 19.2oz cans.
Terrapin Plays Ball (Athens, GA) – Terrapin Beer has a new lower alcohol IPA that they’ve brewed with baseball (and baseball bats) in mind. Terrapin Chopsecutioner is a 5% lighter-bodied version of their popular year-round IPA Hopsecutioner, which they actually aged on Mizuno wood bat chips and brewed at their 5 barrel system based in the Atlanta Braves Suntrust Park.
