New Warm Weather Seasonals And Special Craft Beers

Things are definitely warming up across the country…And we’ve all the right beers for this time of year. Plus we’ve the first from a new Firestone Walker limited release project that’s uber-exciting.

A 100% Chance Of Rain (Orange County, CO) – The Bruery is finally releasing a legendary barrel-aged Imperial from 2009 that up until now has only been made available to Bruery Reserve Society members. Chocolate Rain is a decadent 19.6% (!) bourbon barrel-aged Imperial Stout, featuring cacao nibs from TCHO and fresh vanilla beans.

Sweet, Sour And Juicy (Ft Collins, CO) – New Belgium Brewing is looking to warmer weather with their newest spring/summer seasonal release. Upping the ante on fruit-forward refreshment. New Belgium Juicy Watermelon Lime Ale is 5% ABV sweet and slightly sour celebration that’s brewed with both watermelon and lime peel.

Firestone Walker FortemStrong Stuff (Paso Robles, CA) – Leo v. Ursus is Firestone Walker’s new series of more experimental limited release brews, that was borne in their Venice, California-based Propagator small-batch brewery. Fortem, the first in this new chronology (Latin or strong), is an aromatic 8.2% ABV India Pale Ale crafted with newer hops from the Pacific Northwest and Hallertau, Germany.

She Brewed (Lyons, CO) – On the heels of yesterday’s International Women’s Day, Oskar Blues has announced a new release that was crafted by a special “all-female” brewing crew, to celebrate the occasion. Available at Colorado taproom and restaurant locations starting March 13thOskar Blues SHE’Boogie Bop, is a limited-edition 5.5% ABV lavender and vanilla Cream Ale, brewed by women but with everybody in mind.

Mint Conditioned (Boulder, CO) – Upslope Brewing has just released latest addition to their Tap Room Series and they’re always a good time. A unique blend of peppermint, spring strawberries and (of course) hops, Upslope Strawberry Mint IPA is a big 7.5% India Pale Ale that’s available now in welcome 19.2oz cans.
