Beer Alert: New West Pilsners And Futuristic India Pale Ales

The Winter holidays are now over, yet winter remains. And American craft brewers are addressing things with an exciting roster of new beers that suit this evocative time of year.
A Method To The Madness (Alpine, WY) – Melvin Brewing, a brewery renowned for pushing the boundaries of craft beer, and one of our favorites, has announced the first beer from its brand new Method Series, a new trimester seasonal program designed to showcase hop-forward experimentation in its many forms.
Crafted with Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka hops, and playfully described by the brewery as “punchy, memorable, and just a little unhinged,” Method Drop IPA, is a 6.5% ABV West Coast Style India Pale Ale with bright Sauvignon Blanc and juicy white peach notes and a “full-throttle diesel dankness.”
“Melvin has always been about innovation without compromise,” said Max Shafer, Brewmaster at Melvin Brewing. “The Method Series is our way of experimenting boldly with flavors, hops, and seasonal creativity, for a beer that is both explosive and approachable, and undeniably Melvin.”
