October is the most haunted month of the year, and American craft brewers are looking to fall with a frightening roster of beverages you’re gonna want to have around.
A Haunted Classic Returns (Houston, TX) – Many full moons ago, the Saint Arnold’s Pumpkinator legend began. Originally brewed sixteen years ago as Divine Reserve No. 9, the brewery’s 10.3% ABV Imperial Pumpkin Stout has become their most spine-tingling annual release.
And over the years, it’s amassed a scary amount of accolades and variations.
In 2025, there are more versions of Pumpkinator than ever – there’s a Pumpkinator for everyone looking to spook up the holiday season. Here’s what will be available in stores and at the brewery taproom starting on Oktober 13th.
All them with Saint Arnold’s spooky editorial descriptions…

Gordian Hot (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing is returning a perennial fall favorite and it’s now available in gracious 16oz cans.
Made with more than 3,000 pounds of Pennsylvania longneck pumpkins (a hearty heirloom variety similar to butternut squash) grown locally for the brewery Tröegs Master of Pumpkins is a 7.5% ABV subtly spiced Pumpkin Ale with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla as well as a backbone of caramel malt.
“To us, a pumpkin beer should have pumpkin,” says brewmaster John Trogner. “We’re a Pennsylvania brewery, and pumpkins grow really well here, so using Pennsylvania pumpkins just makes sense. Tröegs lovers definitely appreciate the connection to local agriculture.”
