Summer is waning and American craft brewers are addressing things with a smart roster of  beer you’re gonna want to have around as we look to fall.

A Next Generation IPA (Grand Rapids, MI) – According to data from Beer Marketer’s Insights, the younger generation of drinkers is abandoning beer for a whole world of alternative beverage options including ready-to-drink cocktails, long drinks and seltzers.

But Founders Brewing is not having it and they’ve released something special that was  specifically developed to reach this increasingly elusive younger generation as well as all of those who appreciate a serious India Pale Ale.

Incredibly flavorful and aromatic without any harsh aftertaste, Founders Mortal Bloom Hazy IPA a 6.2% ABV India Pale Ale  with intense citrus and tropical notes of pineapple and mango that are balanced by an uber-soft mouthfeel.

Man in Bavarian attire drinking beer at Oktoberfest festiva

Oktoberfest Timed (Austin, TX) – Hi Sign Brewing has released its take on a classic German-style, a beer that was crafted to celebrate the rich traditions of Bavaria’s iconic festival. Historically brewed in March (hence the name “Märzen”) and lagered through the summer for consumption during Munich’s Oktoberfest celebrations,  Hi Sign Oktoberfest Märzen Lager is an uber-smooth and balanced 5.8% ABV amber-hued lager with a smooth, malty backbone, rich notes of toasted caramel, and a subtle biscuit sweetness.

The Märzen style has deep roots in Bavarian brewing history, dating back to the 16th century when brewers crafted hearty lagers to sustain festival-goers through days of celebration. Hi Sign’s version honors this legacy while showcasing the brewery’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

“We’re excited to share our take on this classic German lager with our community,” said Kevin Decoud, Head Brewer at Hi Sign Brewing. “Our Märzen stays true to tradition with its rich malt character and easy-drinking nature, making it the ideal companion for toasting at our Oktoberfest Party or enjoying at home.”
