August is waning and brewers are celebrating summer’s end and fall’s soon-to-come arrival with an interesting roster of beers that suit the changing seasons.
Hey Pally (Portland, OR) – Von Ebert Brewing has a new collaboration release that they did with their friends Green Cheek Beer in southern California and the name of the beer, is a play on Green Cheek’s logo, which is a parakeet.
Von Ebert + Green Cheek ‘Probably Something with Pally’ is an 8.5% ABV Double Hazy IPA that’s now available on draft at all Von Ebert Brewing and Green Cheek Beer Co. locations as well as in 4-pack 16oz can to go at West Coast bars, bottle shops and grocery stores.
“Our friends at Green Cheek brew hoppy beers, crispy lagers and big stouts – just like Von Ebert so it was only natural we partner on something this year,” said Sam Pecoraro, brewmaster of Von Ebert Brewing. “As we look to expand into the California market, we strategically reached out to some of our favorite brewers in the state for collaborations, like this super tasty hazy double IPA made with Krush and Citra hops.”
“No visit to Portland is complete without drinking some of the rad hoppy beers and yummo lagers that our good good Pally™ Sam pushes out of the good ship Von Ebert,” said Evan Price, co-owner and brewer of Green Cheek Beer Co. “I’m honored to have this opportunity to make something together, using hop varietals that we both just freak’n looooove.”
