Summer is ON and American craft brewers are celebrating its arrival with an uber-interesting roster of beers that you’re gonna want to chase down.
The Beach Is Back (Hershey, PA) Tröegs Independent Craft Brewery as returned something special that was first introduced a the “Summer of Sunshine” variety pack exclusive in 2024.
Debuting as part of the brewery’s rotating Once-a-Year series, which also includes iconic beers like Mad Elf, Nugget Nectar, and Nimble Giant, Tröegs Sunshine Salt + Lime Lager is a 4.3% ABV summertime refresher that is crafted with zesty lime and kosher salt to reinforce its beachy vibe.
That’s Original (San Diego, CA) – The Original 40 Brewing Company has a new addition to its lager-forward roster that’s currently available on draft and in four packs of 16-oz cans. Brimming with delicate herbal and floral notes, People’s Crown is a 5.1% ABV Bavarian-Style Pilsner with a medium bitterness and uber-crisp finish.

“Bavarian pilsners are very pale in color and characterized by their low ester production – due to the lower fermentation temperature – and a very light sulfuric taste,” Head Brewer Kyle said. . “That, coupled with Tettnang and Perle hops, which are found in the southern parts of Germany, create a light lager with subtle floral notes that is extremely crisp and refreshing.”
