Summer is ON and American craft brewers are celebrating its arrival with an uber-interesting roster of beers you’re gonna want to have around.

Made with Western Livin’ In Mind (Denver, CO) – Founded in 2024 by Colorado craft beverage veterans Eric Foster (Stem Ciders), Charlie Berger (Denver Beer Co.), and Brad Lincoln (Funkwerks), Wilding Brands has committed to redefining what modern craft beer looks like. And they’ve a straight ahead lager that’s right on time.

Brewed in the heart of Colorado with western livin’ in mind, Howdy Beer is a crisp and crushable 4.5% ABV American lager with a biscuity malt backbone and a subtle honeysuckle hop character.

Ukrainian Golden Ale ( Brooklyn, NY / Dnipro, Ukraine) Ukrainian craft brewery MOVA, based in Dnipro in eastern Ukraine, has partnered with Brooklyn’s 18th Ward Brewing to create Ukrainian Golden Ale. And despite the ongoing war, the Ukrainian company shipped authentic coriander across the Atlantic to ensure the beer’s traditional spicy character.

” To create the collaboration, MOVA shared their Ukrainian Golden Ale recipe with their US partners. Brewers from both countries worked together to select matching hops and malt varieties available in the US market. However, the authentic Ukrainian coriander—grown in Ukraine’s agricultural regions—had to be shipped internationally to maintain the beer’s traditional flavor profile.

Ukrainian Golden Ale is the world’s first officially recognized Ukrainian beer style, which was added to the European Beer Consumers’ Union style guidelines in 2023. Originally developed in 2009 by Ukrainian brewers, active promotion of the style among the global brewing community began only in 2021. Today, Ukrainian Golden Ale is brewed by breweries on all continents.

This collaboration produced approximately 4,000 cans of Ukrainian Golden Ale. The limited-edition beer is available at 18th Ward Brewing’s taprooms in Brooklyn and New Rochelle, as well as at Umbra, a Brooklyn-based music venue and bar that partners with the US brewery.

Born In The USA (Columbus, OH) – – BrewDog USA, the US arm of the Scotland-headquartered global craft brewer, has a new  American IPA that’s exclusively available as part of its summer variety pack which also includes BrewDog classics like Hazy Jane and Wingman.

A tribute to the brewery’s go-to Chinook hop, BrewDog American IPA is a smooth and crushable 6.3% ABV India Pale Ale with vibrant pine and citrus notes that give way to a surprisingly smooth finish.
