Summer will soon be a memory and American craft brewers are addressing things with an intriguing roster of new beers you’re gonna want to have around.

An Everyday Sour We’re Sweet On (Bend, OR) – 10 Barrel Brewing is deservedly renowned for its big, bold IPAs, but they also offer an interesting family of kettle sours, and there’s one award-winner we’re particularly sweet on.

Brewed personally by the leader of 10 Barrel’s Innovation Team, Tonya Cornett—this year’s recipient of the Russell Schehrer Award for Innovation in Craft Brewing, 10 Barrel Crush Cucumber Sour is a crisp and refreshing 5% ABV kettle sour crafted to appeal to any palate, and particularly to virgins of the sour craze.

Big (Seattle, WA) – In 1981, Redhook Brewery was born in a converted transmission shop in Ballard, Washington, kickstarting the Seattle craft brewing movement. And Redhook is still kicking it with one of the most dependable IPAs in the nation.

A tribute to the brewery’s  original stomping grounds, Big Ballard Imperial IPA is a BIG 8.6% ABV India Pale Ale that more than lives up to its name, with itsbold and aggressive hop profile, deep golden body, and crisp finish.

A Cut Up (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing  has a new release that joins the brewery’s rotating Once-a-Year Series, a special line of offerings that includes iconic beers like Mad Elf, Nugget Nectar, and Nimble Giant.

A nod to the second hop procedure where farmers trim back the extra hop shoots  to bolster the harvest, Tröegs Second Cut Mango Double IPA is a hefty 8.5% ABV India Pale Ale with a silky smooth hop profile and fresh mango notes that linger.

“We’re always searching for new flavors to showcase in our seasonal beers,” explains Tröegs co-founding brother and brewmaster John Trogner. “Over the years, First Cut has become a cult classic, so we thought we’d create something bigger and bolder for those fans.”
