One of three important craft beer gatherings presented annually by the Brewer’s Association, who also sponsor the Craft Brewers Conference as well as the Great American Beer Festival, SAVOR is without a doubt the East Coast’s most significant craft beer gathering.

But when the historically two-day showcase of serious beer and culinary combinations returned to DC for only one night in 2019, many worried that Brewers Association might discontinue what the Washington Post has called “the gold standard of beer festivals in Washington.”

Then came the pandemic which delayed its return in 2020 and 2021 sending craft beer lovers into serious withdrawal.

But now SAVOR is officially ON and returning to Washington, DC on Friday June 24th.

This year SAVOR will be uniting more than 100 small and independent craft brewers with a team of celebrated chefs for a night of pairing perfection at The Anthem DC’s newest waterside venue.

Located at District Wharf in DC’s Southwest Waterfront area, The Anthem first opened its doors October 12, 2017, with a headline performance by the Foo Fighters. The 57,000-square-foot, $60 million venue, was not only designed to showcase the entertainment world’s biggest names, but also special events like SAVOR.

SAVOR’s setting has always been an important part of this one-of-a-kind event and bringing it into the Anthem is an exciting development.

“We are continually evolving SAVOR to keep it fresh and exciting,” Ann Obenchain, Marketing Director for Brewers Association told American Craft Beer…

“The Anthem is a state-of-the-art facility that allows us to stretch our imagination and provide new experiences to delight our guests.”

“The larger space is also enabling us to showcase more brewers than ever before…a 30% increase in brewers, which means more food pairings.”

SAVOR ticket sales to the public will take place April 6

Brewers Association and American Homebrewers Association member ticket presale will take place one day earlier, on April 5.
