Winter is ON but spring is coming and American craft brewers are addressing things with a full slate of new beer offerings to help you weather the transition.

Goodnight Moon (Portland, OR) – In celebration of Ecliptic Brewing’s newest location, the Moon Room, a small batch venue specifically engineered for lagering, the brewery is introducing the Moon Room Series, a line of beers showcasing the world’s most interesting lager variations.

The Moon Room Series features a brand-new label design with a dark and moody vibe that matches the physical Moon Room location in Southeast Portland. Says Harris, “I am really proud to have opened our second location, and I wanted to celebrate this through lager beer. This series will feature a bunch of great traditional German styles that we haven’t necessarily packaged before,” said Ecliptic’s Owner and Brewmaster, John Harris, “less familiar styles like an authentic Oktoberfest and Schwarzbier.”

The first beer in the series is a Ecliptic Moon Room Series: Vienna Lager, a malt-forward 5.6% ABV limited release with notes of fresh bread an caramel candy, that are offset by Hallertau Tradition and Mittelfruh hops.

West Coast Beer Run (San Diego, CA) – – AleSmith Brewing has teamed up with fellow SoCal brewery Pizza Port Brewing and created a defining collaboration release that we can’t wait to get our hands on. Packed with a unique blend of Enigma, Cashmere and Sabro hops, AleSmith / Pizza Port Beach Run is a 6.9% ABV West Coast-Style IPA with hints of berry and stone fruit aromas and rounded bitterness that lingers.

“We’re stoked to partner with our pals at Pizza Port Brewing Company to release this hop forward West Coast-style IPA,” said Ryan Crisp, Head Brewer at AleSmith. “Teaming up with a brewery that shares our passion for hops always makes for a fun and exciting experience.”

“Pizza Port is honored to be brewing this collab with our OG SD cousins at AleSmith, “ added Sean Farrell,  Director of Brewing Operation at Pizza Port Brewing. “Our two companies have been proudly carrying the IPA flag here in town for a while.”

Paradise That Won’t Break The Bank (New Orleans, LA / Houston, TX) – Urban South Brewery has a new year-round offering that’s both approachable and affordable. Easy-drinking and budget friendly, Urban South Paradise Park Lo-Cal IPA is an uber-flavorful 4% ABV India Pale Ale with a lower price point and only 120 calories.
