It’s either encouraging or insane to open a new business in these challenging times. But new breweries are opening all over the US…And they want you.

Former Karbach Brewmaster to Open New Brewery in Texas Hometown

Chris Juergen, a former Brewmaster at Houston’s Karbach Brewing, which was purchased by Anheuser-Busch InBev in 2016, is reclaiming his true craft beer roots and opening a new brewery in his Tomball Texas hometown.

Scheduled to break ground in the fourth quarter of 2020 and open in the second quarter of 2021 the as yet unnamed operation will span 10,500 square feet and include a brewery, restaurant, packaging and distribution space on 4.6 acres in the park with indoor and outdoor space for guests.

“As a hometown boy, I am thrilled to bring this project to Tomball. The staff and board of the TEDC have been completely supportive since day one,” Juergen said in his announcement. “Tomball is a place that fits this project and allows us to be a part of a welcoming community. We want to start by focusing hyper-local and doing that in Tomball makes sense.”

New Tennessee Brewery Crafts Both Coffee and Beer

Franklin, Tennessee, a vibrant community just 21 mile south of Nashville which is home to some of biggest names in music, has gotten a new brewery that’s equally committed to both coffee and beer.

“The Curio Brewing Co. team uses its background in the coffee market to craft espresso drinks and cold brew on-site according to the Tennessean. Curio also offers are also offer experimental beers like “Light Bulb” and “Kilt the Cat” on tap, along with guest taps from breweries across the region.

Vaulted Oak Brewing Is Banking on your Support.

East Charlotte, NC will be getting a new brewery later this year and that’s something you can bank on, because it’s located in a former bank. And in this age of social distancing and curbside pickup its former bank teller windows will become a walk-up window for beer lovers.

But that’s just the beginning. Its vault door will play an epic role in the decor of the new space, as well as the pneumatic tubes.

“Visitors can expect a low key atmosphere that plays off of the building’s past but never dives headfirst into the theme. We get it too; a brewery going into a bank…. The building is just a cool space architecturally and has a lot of potential even after we open and start operating,” founder Kiel Arrington told CharlotteFive. “We know that it’s not a historic building and that it’s not a treasured landmark but it was important to us that we keep the integrity of a lot of the building’s features.”
