Celebrated the first Monday every September, Labor Day honors America’s workers and their many contributions to our nation’s prosperity. It’s also a great time for friends, family, cookouts and BEER.
And here’s a couple you might want to have on hand….
Wild Leap Rocks It! (LaGrange, GA) – Wild Leap Brewing has released something BIG that was brewed to celebrate the Rockweave Music & Arts Festival which is taking place in the brewery’s hometown in October. Wild Leap’s appropriately named Rockweave Double IPA is an 8.1% ABV double dry-hopped Imperial India Pale Ale that promises to be festival ready.
Black-Buried (Comstock, MI) – Perrin Brewing has returned a popular fall limited release inspired and driven by Michigan’s uber-brief blackberry season. Perrin Blackberry IPA is a 5% ABV India Pale Ale that pairs an aromatic and floral bouquet of fresh Michigan hops with the tart sweetness of ripened blackberries.
Life And Limbs (Dexter, MI) – Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales has released its fourth non-sour collective release. Double dry hopped with Chinook, Simcoe, and Vanguard varieties, Jolly Pumpkin All The Trees is a 7.2% ABV India Pale Ale described by the Michigan brewery as a “perfect harmony of orange creamsicles, bubblegum, and melon.”

Founders Gets Festive (Grand Rapids, MI) – Founders Brewing has a new Mothership Series release that goes all in on tradition. Crafted using imported German malts, hops and a specially curated lager yeast Founders Mothership Series Oktoberfest is a 6% ABV Märzen-Style Lager that is so traditional that even adheres to the Reinheitsgebot.
