Thanksgiving is just around the corner… and we’ve all the right beers for the season. Plus we’ve something insanely hop-forward from Alpine Beer that you’ll definitely want to get your sweaty little hands on.

alpine_pure_hoppiness_6pkHop Sanity (San Diego, CA) – Alpine Brewing has never been shy when it comes to hops but they’ve unleashed a monster this time. Alpine Beer’s Pure Hoppiness is an unapologetic 8% ABV West Coast Double IPA that’s audaciously hopped at every opportunity to ensure that you “find your hoppy place.”

An Adventure In Drinking (Lexington, VA) – Devils Backbone has new Adventure Pack that’s an interesting collection of popular one-offs from their Basecamp Brewpub & Meadows facility. And one very good reason to chase this 12-pack down is Devils Backbone Single Hop IPA, a light colored and surprisingly drinkable 7.9% ABV Pale Ale that’s brewed using a single unnamed hop.

Rodger That! (San Leandro, CA) – Drake’s Brewing just shipped a special winter seasonal that’s envisioned with every release. The 2016 Jolly Rodger Ale is described by Drake’s Brewmaster (and ACB fav) John Gillooly as a “Transatlantic Winter Warmer” that’s brewed using an exotic menu of specialty malts, dark candi sugar, and a Belgian ale yeast. Yessssssss!

ufo-winter-blonde-modalNew Winter UFO Sighting (Boston, MA) Harpoon’s UFO line has introduced a new winter seasonal that sounds kinda interesting. With Its hazy New England pour and rich golden color UFO Winter Blonde Ale is described as a 6.9% ABV Vanilla Cold Brew Ale that balances vanilla sweetness with the finer instincts of artisan cold blew coffee

Tropical and Juicy (San Marcos, CA) – Last year California’s Port/Lost Abbey launched “The Hop Concept” as a separate brand designed to showcase specific hops characteristics and they’ll soon be  releasing something new as part of their Hop Freshener Series. The Hop Concept’s Tropical and Juicy IPA is an 8.5% ABV India Pale Ale that’s, well, tropical and juicy.
