Santa Monica Brew Works’ Unsung Heros to Benefit Healthcare Fighting Pandemic

Santa Monica Brew Works (SMBW) has a new release that benefits healthcare workers on the front lines of the fight against coronavirus.

“We felt we had to do something to recognize and help the brave and tireless healthcare workers who serve our community. I’d hate to think where we’d all be without them,” said Scott Francis, SMBW’s Co-Founder, and President & CEO. “The women of our company, who helped brew this beer, selected UCLA Health’s COVID-19 Fund – a cause that’s close to our hearts both figuratively and literally.” The brewery shares its premises with UCLA Family Health Center.

Brewed using the seasonal Pink Boots Hop Blend supplied by Yakima Chief Hops, SMBW Unsung Heros is a 7% ABV Hazy IPA. The special small batch release is available now in crowlers to-go from the brewery’s Tasting Room in Santa Monica. And five Dollars from the sale of each 32 oz. can will be donated to UCLA Health’s COVID-19 Fund.
