After a two year hiatus imposed by COVID-19, beer festivals and gatherings are thankfully returning…And not a moment too soon.

Schlafly Beer & Stout Returns To St Louis

On February 8 St Louis’ original craft brewery Schlafly Beer, announced that after being on hold for two consecutive years, it was returning its legendary Stout & Oyster Festival to the historic Schlafly Tap Room.

The largest oyster festival in the Midwest returns on March 25 & 26 with 80,000 fresh oysters, 25 professional shuckers from around North America and 15 specialty stouts, special limited releases such as: Tabasco Stout, Red Hot Riplet Stout, Chocolate Cherry Stout, Maplewood Coffee Stout and more.

“It’s been two years since we’ve been able to host Stout & Oyster Festival and we could not be more excited to welcome guests back for our most popular beer festival of the year,” says CEO Fran Caradonna. “We look forward to welcoming our friends in the community as well as our cast of shuckers from all over the country to the Tap Room to enjoy great times, laughs and great beer.”

The event is free to attend, and guests pay for their preferred food and beer.  To see complete details about Schlafly’s Stout & Oyster Festival, visit here.

The 2022 Craft Brewers Conference Does Minneapolis

Craft beer’s most important industry gathering, the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America will be making its way to Minnesota this spring. And If you’re in the craft beer biz, have friends in the industry, or hope to work in it yourself one day, you need to be there.

Presented by the Brewers Association, the Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) is the world’s largest beer and brewing event and it normally attracts thousands of brewing professionals and some of the biggest names in the biz.

The CBC is held in different cities annually and next spring (May 2-5) it will be touching down for the first time in Minneapolis, Minnesota for four days of enlightening industry talk and SERIOUS fun.

The 39th annual CBC will showcase a vast array of brewing seminars and industry voices, across eight different educational tracks ranging from brewery operations to sustainability and government affairs.

First launched in Boulder Colorado in 1996, the Craft Brewers Conference has grown massively in scope and scale…But due to the pandemic it went virtual in 2020 and returned to Denver in a scaled back form in 2021.

CBC 2022 will also present BrewExpo America, the nation’s leading trade show for craft brewers featuring more than 500 exhibitors… and a great opportunity for professionals to explore the newest products and services that the industry has to offer.
