Fall is on and winter not that far away and American craft brewers are addressing the changing season with an intriguing roster of new beers you’re gonna want to chase down.

Into The Fire (San Francisco, CA) –  21st Amendment has returned what many consider to be the perfect winter beer.  21st Amendment’s Fireside Chat is a 7.9% English-style Strong Ale with a rich, dark color and bold flavor that’s ideal as the weather cools.

“Fireside Chat has a wonderful warming amber color, bright toffee foam head, soft spice profile, and a rich chocolate layer on the finish that’s quite elegant,” said Shaun O’Sullivan, Co-Founder and Brewmaster at 21st Amendment Brewery. We made some slight tweaks to the recipe in 2022 that I think our fans will enjoy.”

Fireside Chat is rolling out now and will be available through December in all 34 states where 21st Amendment distributes. Get it while supplies last, because like Santa, this beer only come around once a year.

Young Pumpkin (Bucks County, PA) – Neshaminy Creek Brewing is an award-winning craft brewery and taproom located just north of Philadelphia in Croydon, PA. And they’ve just returned a unique fall seasonal that takes the Pumpkin Beer concept in an interesting direction. Brewed with bright pumpkin spices and classic German hops, Neshaminy Creek Young Pumpkinstein is a medium-bodied 5.2% ABV Märzen-Style Lager with a toasty malt character and an uber-dry finish.

A Decade Done Right (Portland, OR) – Ecliptic Brewing is celebrating 10 years of serious brewing with something special. Brewed with Pale and Pilsner malts, as well as rice, which helps give the beer a light body Ecliptic Tenth Orbit is a 7% ABV Rice IPA with a big hoppy character thanks to a smart mix of Simcoe, Citra, Cascade, and Amarillo hops.

“In the 10 years since we opened, a lot has changed in the craft beer industry. For example, people have been looking for lighter offerings, as far as color goes,” says Ecliptic’s Owner and Brewmaster, John Harris. He continues, “Rice was only used in American Lager 10 years ago. The addition of this ingredient really lightens the body of the beer and lets the hops shine through. We are using a mixture of hops that were around 10 years ago, as well as some that have been released since 2013.”
