At long last, the wait is over. Coming to Esquire Network this summer will be America's only craft beer show on TV: Brewdogs. NBC/Universal, which has been rebranding the former G4 Gaming Network into a men's channel, will begin airing the 6 hour-long episodes late this summer.

As history has demonstrated, women have long struggled to find footing in many male-dominated industries and have often turned to each other for collective support and direction. Even with the massive advances that women have made over the years, there still remain subtle and sometimes not so subtle challenges in many different industries, including craft beer. These issues are worth giving voice too, and thankfully, many strong women in the craft beer industry are willing to do just that!

We blame the industry for this... It used to be that when we wrapped up our Weekend Picks on Friday, we could coast through the weekend. There was little need to check in for updates - things were pretty much done. But clearly all that's changed. Memorial Day is the one day every year when America stops what it's doing to remember its fallen men and women who heroically served in the United States Armed Forces. It also marks the unofficial start of the summer vacation season - a time for outdoor barbeques and friends and family getting together over food and drinks.

And since we've no doubt that all of American Craft Beer's Regional Correspondents are going to be out and about celebrating their long holiday weekend, we thought we'd hit them up to see what they'll be eating and drinking this Memorial Day.

The newspaper industry had William Randolph Hearst, the automotive industry had Henry Ford, and the Los Angeles craft beer industry has Tony Yanow. Each had a huge influence on his respective industry, but Tony is probably the only one out of the three who doesn't know how to do the Lindy Hop. Tony may be one of the most influential craft beer entrepreneurs in LA, and he accomplished this feat in a surprisingly short amount of time.

Last week marked the 8th annual American Craft Beer Week in towns all across the US, with local breweries offering new beers and special events to highlight the craft beer scene for the celebration.
