, THE AMERICAN CRAFT BEER WEEKEND PICKSDC Brau Birthday Bash (Washington, DC) – DC Brau turns five this weekend! And to celebrate this milestone, the brewery is throwing their biggest and best birthday party yet with an all-day music and beer festival at the DC Brau compound this Saturday, April 16th headlined by Austin-based rockers The Sword. At the event, the brewery will also release five extremely limited collaboration beers created with friends at Austin Beerworks,Cigar City, Perennial Artisan Ales, Port City and Sun King and you don’t want to miss that! On The Big Screen – With many of us having grown-up on reruns of Disney’s Jungle Book as part of our back history, you should know that… IT’S BACK! Well not the original animated musical, but a new CGI version of The Jungle Book (thankfully minus all the stupid songs) debuts this weekend and word on the street is that it’s actually pretty good.

This massive affair (Apr 15th – Apr 24tH) is one of the most important musical events of the year. You can see Sia and there will even be an actual Guns N’ Roses reunion – so what’s your excuse for not going?

TV Time – With AMC’s The Walking Dead having concluded for the season last Sunday, many a zombie freak is going through withdrawal…Well no need to panic because the network just returned season 2 of Fear The Walking Dead a spin-off of the original post-apocalyptic series that debuted last year. , THE AMERICAN CRAFT BEER WEEKEND PICKSFear’s got its own mojo – an entirely different cast of characters and a West Coast vibe.
