Halloween Weekend Beer Bash In The Big Apple (NYC) – Manhattan a great place to spend Halloween – it’s also become a major league craft beer town. And this weekend (Oct 30th-31st) the Hand Crafted Tasting crew will celebrating serious beer (and of course All Hallows Eve) at the NYC Craft Beer Festival Halloween Harvest. Billed as “the best Halloween beer bash in the city,” this year’s two-day, three session throwdown is being held at an exciting new location, Metropolitan West in midtown. Over 75 of the region’s best breweries will be showcasing their serious stash – so you absolutely need to make this Halloween beerganza a part of your weekend. And as it’s Halloween weekend, costumes are not only welcome, they’re encouraged!

TV Time – There’s no shortage of horror fare on television either, but if you’re serious about Halloween the AMC Network owns it. Not only are they already showing scary movies 24/7, they’re also home to The Walking Dead and will be debuting a new horror comedy series created by Sam Raimi, Ash vs. Evil Dead.

If ever there was a time to double-down on Pumpkin beers it’s this weekend – and we’ll be doing exactly that with a scary seasonal, that we recently received from Flying Dog. The Fear is Flying Dog’s massive (9% ABV) Imperial Pumpkin Ale – and we’ve already begun hitting it here at the ACB compound.
