Sufferfest’s Beers With Benefits

With beer sales slowing and more consumers than ever opting for healthier lifestyles, one San Francisco company is addressing this growing contingency with award-winning functional beer for the active and health-conscious.

Here’s the deal…

Sufferfest Beer Company was built for athletes and adventurers who love beer as much as they do pushing the limits.

In 2012, Founder and CEO Caitlin Landesberg started her search for the ideal beer to quench her thirst after long trail runs in and around San Francisco…But when she couldn’t find a beer that supported her athletic lifestyle and diet, she took matters into her own hands and set out to perfect a beer that pairs perfectly with serious athleticism.

In 2016 Catlin introduced Sufferfest Beer to the world and they are currently available at retailers, restaurants, run and bike shops, climbing gyms and CrossFit boxes up and down California.

Sufferfest offer a full-spectrum of craft beers, all of them containing naturally occurring vitamins and micronutrients like potassium-rich barley, sodium, iron, and fiber.

And if that wasn’t healthy enough…Sufferfest beers  are probiotic-friendly and go through an extensive gluten removal process that registers lowest detection limit possible.

sufferfest, Sufferfest’s Beers With BenefitsIn addition to a Pilsner, a Blonde Ale and an IPA Summerfest Beer Company offers two especially beneficial beers.

Sufferfest Repeat is a 3.5% ABV Kölsch-style beer brewed with bee pollen (a vitamin-enhancing superfood) with only 95 calories and 5 carbs per serving.

Sufferfest FKT (Fastest Known time) is another of their “Beer with Benefits.” And this 5.5% ABV Pale Ale is brewed with black currants that deliver a mega-dose of vitamin C and infused with salts that provide an uber-hydration similar to sports drinks

For many athletes no drink is more welcome than a decent beer after an aggressive workout.

And now Caitlin Landesberg‘s Sufferfest has upped the ante on your average post-workout recovery drink and delivered a “beer with benefits’ that might actually work.
