These are no longer normal times…So why drink something normal?

New Mothership Sighting (Grand Rapids, MI) – Founders Brewing has a new addition to its Mothership Series, an ultra-limited line of Michigan-only offerings. Exotically tart and tropically sweet, Founders Passion Fruit Gose is a unique 4.6% ABV refresher, available exclusively in bottles in the Grand Rapids and Detroit taprooms beginning on August 26.

“We started experimenting with gose-style ales a couple years ago,” said Brewmaster Jeremy Kosmicki. “It’s a fun style that brings together the mouth-puckering qualities of a good sour, with the crushability of a lighter beer. We found that passion fruit brings just the right amount of tropical sweetness to the tang of the gose.”

Great Lakes Plays Haze (Cleveland, OH) – Ohio’s heritage leader, Great Lakes Brewing has a new year-round addition to its portfolio which was inspired by the state’s trailblazing astronauts and the growing Hazy IPA sensation. Developed and fine-tuned on GLBC’s 2-barrel Pilot System, Great Lakes Hazecraft IPA is a 6.7% ABV India Pale Ale brewed with a smart blend of Azacca, Lemondrop, and Simcoe hops that delivers BIG on juicy notes and tropical aromatics.

Getting Beachy (Frederick, MD) – Flying Dog Brewery’s newest seasonal is taking America’s reining beer style in a decidedly tropical direction. The perfect fusion of hop profile and tropical tones, Flying Dog Tropical Truth an 8.7% ABV Imperial India Pale Ale brewed with mango and passionfruit added.

Hold Your Fire (Juneau, Alaska) – Alaskan Brewing has a new limited release that pairs perfectly with the warm weather months in the 49th state… Complex but never demanding, Alaskan Fireweed Blonde is a light-bodied 4.5% ABV American Blonde Ale crafted with fireweed honey, a nectar sometimes called the “champagne of honey,” that’s the result of honeybees harvesting nectar from the vibrant fireweed plants which bloom in summer throughout Alaska.
