Indianapolis-based Bier Brewery has grown a legion of fans over the years for their beers as well as for Sarah Buschmann’s pop-centric chalkboard beer list art that graces their taprooms. And she recently took on the late, great, comic book icon, Stan Lee.

Lee who created iconic superheroes like Spider-Man, the X-Men pantheon, Thor, Iron Man, and Black Panther was a writer who created the Marvel Comics world a storyteller not the artist, other people drew his characters…

But Bier Brewery’s Sarah Buschmann is an artist. Her medium is chalk nd her canvas, which she changes weekly, is Bier Brewery’s Bier list chalkboards….

And now that they’ve two taprooms Sarah’s twice as busy!

Sarah’s work is sometimes humorous, sometimes reflective, and sometimes sad (as was her memorial to Anthony Bourdain), and here homage to Stan Lee is something to toast…
