destihl-brewery-logo-color-jpegWe blame the industry for this… It used to be that when we wrapped up our Weekend Picks on Friday, we could coast through the weekend. But clearly all that’s changed. So here’s some of what’s happened in the world of craft beer while you were off enjoying yourself.

Destihl’s New Brewery To Open This Spring (Normal, IL) – Illinois-based Destihl Brewery will reportedly be opening their new $14 million facility this spring. In March they will debut Grande Lagos Lager a 5.4% ABV Mexican-style lager brewed with hibiscus flowers, the 6.6% ABV Lightkeeper Blonde, and Oats MacDonald 5.7% Pale Ale. In April they will release Hop Madness IPA an 8% ABV Double India Pale Ale that the brewery suggests could lead to hysteria.
