Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out For
So many beers, So little time… The Boston Beer Company is known for many things – but barrel-aged and blended Belgian sours isn’t one of them – until now. We’ve got that surprising story for you plus other cool new releases from Deschutes and Rogue Ales that you’ll want to get your sweaty little hands on.

Two Hours from Bine to Brew (Independence, OR) – In celebration of this year’s hop harvest, Rogue Ales is releasing something very special. Rogue Farms Wet Hop Ale is brewed with fresh-picked Freedom & Yaquina hops grown on the Rogue Farm in Independence, Oregon.Within minutes of being trimmed from the trellises, Brewmaster John Maier and his crew were on hand to strip the hop cones from their bines, stuff them into burlap sacks, immediately drive them 77 miles to the Rogue Brewery in Newport, Oregon, and pitch them into the kettle to finish brewing. This harvest season ale will be available on draft in limited quantities at all Rogue Ales Public Houses, as well as at select bars and restaurants nationwide.

Chasing Freshness (Bend, OR) – One of our favorite Fresh Hop IPAs is coming out soon and Deschutes is behind it. Part of the Bond StreetSeries, Deschutes Chasin’ Freshies is a 7.2% ABV Fresh Hop Pale Ale that features a different hop every year. The 2014 release showcases the Mosaic hop, and it will begin rolling out in October in22 oz. bottles and on draft.
