2017 has arrived with a vengeance and so has winter’s weather…And we’ve all the right beers for the season. Plus we’ve something special from Waked Weed that you’ll absolutely want to get your sweaty little hands on.

Get Toasted (Asheville, NC) – Wicked Weed Brewing has a ‘wicked” January release that combines the instincts of an Imperial Stout with the sensibility of a “breakfast Beer.” Available now at the Brewpub and at their Funkatorium and making its way to retail soon, Wicked Weed French Toast is a deep dark cold weather ale brewed with copious amounts of cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup.

saint-arnold-divine-reserve-1721st Amendment Goes Boom! (San Leandro, CA) – 21st Amendment Brewing is returning a “blast from the past” just in time for wintertime’s plummeting temperatures. Part of their popular Insurrection Series, Lower De Boom is an enormous 11.5% ABV American Barleywine that’s available now and will be through early February – so you know what to do.

Divine Intervention (Houston, TX) – On January 16th Saint Arnold Brewing will ship a new Divine Series limited release that’s perfectly timed for this time of year. Roasted this side of perfection and fashioned on the “stout” side of porters, Saint Arnold Divine Reserve 17 is a robust 8.8% Baltic Porter with stylistic roots that extend back to the early 18th century.

avery-hog-heavenPigs Can Fly (Boulder, CO) – And they’re on the label of a popular Avery year-round release that we find ourselves enjoying more during the winter months. Described by the brewery as both a Barleywine ale and an Imperial Red IPA (so you decide) Avery Hog Heaven is a 9.2% hybrid that’s melded to a rich caramel backbone and pours unrelentingly crimson.

Liquid Temptation (Garland, TX) – As the weather gets colder we like our drinks a little bigger and bolder and Lakewood Brewing’s award-winning annual barrel-aged offering gets the job done for us. This year’s Bourbon Barrel Temptress is an 11% ABV Imperial Milk Stout that was oak-aged for up to 7 months in bourbon barrels and is guaranteed to keep you warm
