|June 18th, 2015|

So many beers- So little time. Summer is here – and so are the beers of summer – and we’ve some of this season’s best for you to check out. Plus some new releases from Anchorage and Stone that sound serious as well.

Summer LoveSummer Of Love (Downingtown, Pa) – There are plenty of reasons to love this time of year and Victory’s popular summer seasonal is one of them. Victory Summer Love Is a 5.2% ABV light-bodied Blond Ale brewed with pale malts, German hops and Brandywine River water.

Flower Powered (Cooperstown, NY) – Ommegang approaches most things from a Belgian perspective and their summer seasonal is no different. Brewed to evoke the flowers of summer Ommegang Fleur De Houblon is a 6.8% ABV Belgian Pale Ale that’s available now in bottles and on draft.

Shenanigans Summer AleShenanigans (Minneapolis, MN) – When summer and friends get together, shenanigans sometimes happen – and Indeed Brewing has a beer for that. Shenanigans Summer Ale Is a 5% ABV American Pale Wheat Ale that brewed with honey and available now through September.

Summer Stylin’ (Santa Fe, NM) – Santa Fe Brewing Company has taken a German traditional and did a reset for summer. Freestyle Pilsner is an assertively-hopped 5.5% ABV Lager that’s a modern, Southwestern take on a classic.

Kihei KolschHawaiian Summer (Kihei, HI) – In Hawaii it’s always summer, so we think Maui Brewing’s 2015 spring release counts as a warm weather beer. Maui Kihei Kolsch is a 5.2 ABV refresher that’s brewed with the lightest European Pilsner malts, a blend of traditional German noble hops and spicy, citrusy hops from the Pacific Northwest.
