So many beers- So little time… Spring is fast giving way to summer and we’ve all the right beers for this season! Plus we’ve some robust new exotics from Wicked Weed and Modern Times that you’ll want to get your sweaty little hands on.

Blonde Ambition (Boulder, CO) – Upslope has new “Utah-only” ale that we wished was a national release. Upslope Belgian Style Blonde with Guava is exactly that a sessionable 4% ABV fruit-infused ale, with a honeycrisp apple and champagne aroma, and a light bodied evanescent finish. 

Mega Noir (San Diego, CA) – Modern Times is taking its year-round oatmeal coffee stout (Black House), and amping things up to an insane level. Modern Times Mega Black House is a massive 10% Imperial Stout brewed with “preposterous” amounts of house-roasted coffee.

Cloud Fed (Austin, TX) – Jester King just released a new collaboration that they did with Tired Hands, and we’ve got to admit, it sounds pretty awesome. Jester King Cloudfeeder is a sessionable 3.8% Farmhouse Ale, brewed with Texas grapefruit and limes, Pennsylvania honey, and dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe hops.

Craft Beer Criminal (Asheville, NC) – Wicked Weed has entered the growing fruit-flavored IPAs arena with a recent release. Wicked Weed Hop Burglar is a hop-forward 7% ABV India Pale Ale brewed with blood oranges and grapefruit zest.

Happy Anniversary (Escondido, CA) – Back in 2002, the Stone Brewing celebrated their 6th anniversary, not with an IPA as you might expect, but with a cranked up Smoked Porter that was aged on Oak. And now Stone 6th Anniversary Porter has happily returned this robust 8% classic, as part of the brewery’s 20th Anniversary Encore Series –and the world is a better place for it.
