So many beers- So little time… Winter is undeniably here, and with it the beers of the season. And we’ve a number of interesting new offerings that you’ll want to chase down…We’ve also two awesome new releases from SweetWater and The Bronx Brewery that sound serious as well.

Victory Experiments (Downingtown, PA) – Victory has a new 20th Anniversary release that is undeniably experimental. Brewed with a fairly obscure ho, Idaho 7, that comes from a remote region of the state that is mysteriously referred to as “the Shelf,” Victory 20 Experimental IPA is a 5.5% ABV India Pale Ale with a subtle black tea-like characters and a fresh pine herbal bouquet.

The Bronx Brewery Goes Dark! (New York, NY) – Our friends at The Bronx Brewery have a new “draft-only” B-Sides release and it’s the first stout that they’ve ever brewed commercially. Bronx Uptown Milk Stout is 6.8% ABV, midnight black brew – rich, full bodied stout that delivers a dark roasted chocolate taste and an Ethiopian coffee creaminess.

The Bleeding Hearts Society (Atlanta, GA) – Second Self Beer just released a limited edition Valentine’s Day-inspired favorite that you’ll definitely need to have on hand for that romantic February the 14th holiday. Brewed with fresh Tanzanian cocoa nibs, specially selected for them by the Cacao Atlanta Chocolate, Bleeding Heart is a 6.9% ABV Amber that’s inspired by a Southern classic, Red Velvet Cake.

Dark Is As Dark Does (Edinburgh, Scotland) – Oak-aged beer champions, Innis & Gunn have a new winter seasonal available now in the states. Aged in Innis & Gunn’s unique Oakerator, over a blend of bourbon-infused American oak, Bourbon Aged Dark Ale is a 7.4% cola-colored ale brewed with crystal and toasted malts, roasted barley and Super Styrian Goldings hops.

Smoking! (Atlanta, GA) – SweetWater has a new Dank Tank Series release and they teamed up with barbeque legends Justin and Jonathan Fox to create it. Brewed using malt smoked over hickory that was infused with bacon at Fox Bro’s BBQ, SweetWater’s limited edition Pulled Pork is a 7.7% Bacon Smoked Porter.
