So many beers- So little time… Fall has arrived and with it the beers of the season – and we’ve a number of interesting new releases that you’ll want to chase down….Plus we’ve some new offerings from Tallgrass and HUB that say goodbye to the summer and hello to the winter that’s coming.

Winter’s Coming (Portland, OR) – Hopworks Urban Brewery is returning a beloved cult classic, so you can stop complaining now. Emerging from the depths of the brewery every winter and surprising drinkers with complex floral treats, HUB Organic Abominable Winter Ale is 7.3% ABV hop-forward seasonal that’s okay with being a “not normal” winter beer.

Summit Unchained (St. Paul, MN) – Summit Brewing recently released the twentieth addition to their popular Unchained Series and this one comes from the brewery’s Mike Lundell. Summit Sticke Alt: Düsselfdorf Style Ale is a stronger (6% ABV), darker, (reddish brown), plus a maltier and hoppier version of a traditional Altbier. And it’s out there now – so you know what to do.

Zombie Monkie Invasion (Manhattan, KS) – Tallgrass Brewing’s top-selling seasonal dropped earlier than usual this year (August) but this post-apocalyptic brew is still out there and demands your attention. Zombie Monkie is a 6.2% robust Porter that comes in a brilliantly designed, textured 16oz can. Crafted with loads of roasted dark chocolate and specialty malts — this “Monkie” has a surprisingly hoppy finish.

Leftovers Coming From Breckenridge (Littleton, CO) – Next month, Breckenridge will be releasing a special beer that celebrates both the brewery and Leftover Salmon’s 25th anniversary. Silver Salmon India Pale Lager is a limited-edition hop-forward refresher that will be packaged exclusively with the new Leftover Salmon album, 25.

The Fall Pumpkin Parade Continues (Tampa, FL) – This week’s addition to the ongoing pumpkin parade comes from Cigar City. Brewed with Ceylon cinnamon, Jamaican allspice and Zanzibar cloves, Cigar City Good Gourd Imperial Pumpkin Ale is a massive 8.5% seasonal that combines lots of decidedly un-fall-like ingredients, to create a remarkable pumpkin beer.
