National Beer Day is coming and American craft brewers are addressing the April 7th celebrations with an intriguing roster of new beers you’re gonna need to have on hand…

Field Study (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing has returned a popular limited release that evolved from its experimental small-batch Scratch Series. Mercilessly dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado, Tröegs Field Study is a 6.2% ABV slightly hazy IPA with bright grapefruit, mango, pear and melon notes.

“Field Study began life as Scratch #327, when we first started tinkering with some new hopping techniques,” explains Tröegs brewmaster John Trogner. “We built on those experiments over the next few Scratch releases and landed on a grain bill featuring a backbone of Rustic Pale Malt.”

Get Dusted (Seattle, WA) – Elysian Brewing has an uber-interesting variation to its bestselling flagship IPA Space Dust, Washington State’s #1 IPA in 2023, and one of the nation’s most popular India Pale Ales.

Crafted with real orange juice which elegantly melds with a savvy hop menu, Elysian Juice Dust is a lush, 8.2% ABV, citrus-forward India Pale Ale with sweet orange, guava, and tropical fruit notes and a balanced bitterness.

Juice Dust IPA is currently pouring at all three of Elysian’s local Seattle pub locations as well as at the Elysian Taproom. 6-pack 12oz cans of Juice Dust IPA are regionally available at selected retailers in WA, OR, and CA.

It’s also available nationally as part of the Elysian Imperial IPA Mix Pack, so you know what to do.
