October is just flying by, and American craft brewers are celebrating things with an ever-evolving roster of beers that will keep things fun as the nights grow longer.
Colossal (Brooklyn, NY) – Brooklyn Brewery Colossal Media have released a special collaboration that celebrates Colossal Media’s 21st anniversary of revitalizing hand-painted outdoor advertising as both a service and creative profession.
Now available at the Brooklyn Brewery Tasting Room and later this month at some of their favorite NYC haunts, Brooklyn Brewery x Colossal Crisp Strokes is 4.8% ABV Pilsner that comes in gracious pint cans. The can design features Colossal’s painters mid-rig, a nod to the walldogs who scale buildings daily to keep New York’s walls alive with artisan murals.
Sweet & Scary (Houston, TX) – On Halloween (October 31st) – Saint Arnold Brewing will be debuting something which pays homage to a classic Texas candy and will only be available at the Saint Arnold Beer Garden & Restaurant.
A collaboration with the legendary Atkinson Candy Company, Saint Arnold Chick-O-Stick Stout is a sweet & scary 8.8% ABV small-batch limited release with layers of rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter and toasted coconut tones, creating a dessert-worthy experience that’s both familiar and indulgent.

Hammer Time (San Diego, CA) – AleSmith Brewing is celebrating its 30th anniversary (yep, it’s been that long) with a new Speedway Barrel-Aged Stout variation that gets aggressive with coffee.
Inspired by the eye-opening Hammerhead coffee drink, (a shot of espresso added to brewed coffee), AleSmith Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout: Hammerhead Edition (2025) is a massive 13.46% ABV Imperial Stout with layers of vanilla, spice, and dried fruit tones, that was brewed with a blend of crushed Ethiopian and espresso beans for an intense coffee flavor.
