Beer festivals are returning and American craft brewers are addressing things with exciting new beers you’re gonna want to have around.

Yazoo Hop Project Returns (Nashville, TN) – Just in time for Craft Brewers Conference, which is rockin’ right now in Nashville, Yazoo Brewing has returned its ever-evolving Hop Project Series of IPAs, but with a new twist.  The renamed Impy Hop Project series will once again focus on new trends and innovations in the world of hops, but at a higher 7% ABV. And the renewed series will only be available on draft or in large-format 19.2oz “stovepipe” cans.

“We ended our original Hop Project series when we decided we had found the perfect blend of hops, retiring it after eighty-six different variations over ten years”, said Linus Hall, co-owner of Yazoo Brewing.  “But the world of hops has continued to evolve, with new varieties from all over the world. Plus, new developments in yeast selections can bring amazing new flavors from traditional hops.  We had so many new ideas that we decided to bring back the Hop Project series.”

Field Study (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing has returned a popular limited release that evolved from its experimental small-batch Scratch Series. Mercilessly dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado, Tröegs Field Study is a 6.2% ABV slightly hazy IPA with bright grapefruit, mango, pear and melon notes.

“Field Study began life as Scratch #327, when we first started tinkering with some new hopping techniques,” explains Tröegs brewmaster John Trogner. “We built on those experiments over the next few Scratch releases and landed on a grain bill featuring a backbone of Rustic Pale Malt.”

“Rustic Pale malt is kilned slightly higher than most pale malts to amplify the complex cereal and slightly nutty notes,” added Trogner.

Serious Beer From The N/A Corner (Toronta, CA) – With more craft breweries than ever before brewing serious non-alcohol beer, ACB is expanding our coverage to include new NA beers that matter. And Partake Brewing has a new limited release that’s incredibly convincing. Briming with big banana and clove notes, Partake Hefeweizen is a buzz-free 15 calorie (!) beer with a crisp but low-level hop bitterness that pairs brilliantly with the warming weather.
