New Beer Alert – 3 Hazy India Pale Ales That Deliver

March is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with an intriguing roster of beers you’re gonna want to have around.

Brewed For The Next Generation (Grand Rapids, MI) – According to data from Beer Marketer’s Insights, 2023 saw the lowest level of beer consumed in the US in a generation. This is largely due to the younger generation of drinkers choosing alternative beverage options including ready-to-drink cocktails, long drinks, and seltzers.

But Founders Brewing is not having it and they’ve debuted something special that was  specifically developed to reach this increasingly elusive younger generation

Incredibly flavorful and aromatic without any harsh aftertaste, Founders Mortal Bloom is a 6.2% ABV Hazy IPA  with intense citrus and tropical notes of pineapple and mango that are balanced by an uber-soft mouthfeel.

Extra Delicious (Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing has a new addition to its impressive Delicious Series like all the beers in the line is also gluten reduced. A gluten-reduced Hazy IPA is hard to come by. Not only does this one exist, but it also packs an unparalleled flavor rendering that gluten conversation nearly irrelevant.

Crafted with Sabro, El Dorado and Azacca hops, Stone Delicious Hazy IPA is a 7.2% ABV year-round offering with peach and pineapple notes and a lingering finish.

“The Brewing Team takes the challenge of calling a beer ‘Delicious,’ very seriously and all four of the beers need to live up to that name,” explained Jeremy Moynier, Senior Manager of Brewing &Innovation. “Stone Delicious Hazy IPA definitely lives up to the Delicious standard and is a great addition to the Delicious family of beers.”

Cosmic (Chico, CA) – Sierra Nevada Brewing has a new addition to the brewery’s innovation streams dubbed the ‘Limited Hazy Series that is even more ‘cosmic’ than its three predecessors. inspired by the prominent use of space-themed hops including Comet, Strata, and Helios, Sierra Nevada Cosmic Litle Thing is an 8% ABV Hazy IPA that shoots for the stars and delivers.

“As innovation brewers we’re always exploring different hop flavor combinations and looking for new ways to excite engaged beer fans, even when we’re working within existing beer styles,” says James Conery, Innovation Brewmaster at Sierra Nevada. “The Hazy IPA style is particularly exciting for craft beer fans right now, and it’s also exciting for us because there’s room for our creativity and exploration mindset to thrive. That comes through in the new beers we’re crafting, and Cosmic Little Thing is a great example of that.”
