New Band/Beer Collaborations, Hoppy Saisons And IPA’s

A Rose’ Play (Longmont, CO) – Oskar Blues Brewery has announced the nationwide release of something that they describe as “perfect summer sipping.” Tart, bright prickly pear meets floral hibiscus in Oskar Blues Rosé for Daze, an effervescent 6% ABV rosé beer hybrid that was inspired by America’s favorite pink wine.

A Gold Rush (Hood River, OR) – pFriem Family Brewers has returned a summer ready release that we always look forward to hitting. Brewed with bright El Dorado and Oregon grown Amarillo hops, pFriem Golden IPA is a 6.8% ABV West Coast-style India Pale Ale bursting with lively fruit flavors of kiwi and ripe raspberries.

Revolution Brewing and Alternative Rockers Chevelle Collaborate (Chicago, IL) – Multi-Platinum Rock Band, Chevelle has collaborated with fellow-homeboys Revolution Brewing on something to complement the groups’ upcoming set at Lollapalooza on August 2. Crafted at the original Revolution Brewing Brewpub by Pub Brewer John “Jumpy” Palos after extended discussions with the band, La Gargola, is a classic German-style Helles Lager and the band’s first brewery collaboration. Chevelle have a new album in the works and are currently out on a summer tour with Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace and more.

Bold Dog Keeps It Simple (Chicago, IL) – Bold Dog Beer is a District Brew Yards based brewery that focuses on both American and Belgian styles and they’ve a new Keep It Simple Series release… Brewed with top quality Pilsner malt, Citra hops and an uber-unique saison yeast strain, Bold Dog K.I.S.S is a 7.4% ABV hop-forward Saison that makes quite a statement in its debut.

Cran-Buried (Nantucket, MA) – Cisco Brewers has a new limited release that’s available now in 12 oz. can 12-packs and 6-pack bottles. Deftly brewed with Blanc, Nelson, Melon, and Citra hops, Pilsner malt and cranberry purée, Cisco Crantucket Brut Rosé IPA is a 4.8% ABV India Pale Ale that finishes dray as a bone.
