Well, it’s not over, but many states are lifting restrictions and people have begun to crawling out of their homes like on Groundhog Day.

And we’ve some intoxicating new releases that pair smartly with a post-COVID-19 world.

Hazy Days (San Diego, CA) – Continuing to look forward in unprecedented times, Coronado Brewing is introducing a new year-round that was originally brewed as an uber-small-batch offering.

Coronado Pineapple Farm Hazy IPA is a 6.8% ABV New England-style IPA brewed with fresh pineapple and a touch of lactose to bolster its juicy character and slightly creamy mouthfeel.

“We wanted to brew a juicy, fruit-forward hazy IPA with a bright, tropical profile,” says Mark Theisen, Head Brewer, Coronado Brewing Company. “We use London III yeast to accentuate the fruitiness, and the pineapple notes really play up the stone fruit and juiciness of the Simcoe, Azacca, and Amarillo hops.”

Anderson Valley Celebrates The Great Outdoors (Boonville, CA) – Anderson Valley Brewing has a new release that’s tart and unique… and only 125 calories. Brewed using a traditional kettle souring method, similar to the brewery’s award-winning Gose Series, Anderson Valley Tropical Hazy Sour Ale is a 4.3% ABV summer seasonal that pairs brilliantly with the great outdoors.

Dead-On Brewing (Longmont, CO) – Oskar Blues Brewery has a decadent new addition to its  Death By Porter Series, an adventurous line of hefty Porters inspired by cult classic Death By Coconut Irish Porter. Infused with cacao nibs, hand-split Ugandan and Madagascar vanilla beans and coffee from Colorado’s own Traction Coffee Roasters, Oskar Blues Death By Affogato is a 6.5% ABV Porter brewed with vanilla, lactose, cacao nibs and espresso beans.

Legalized Drinking (Denver, CO) – River North Brewing will soon be releasing a pro bono collaboration that they with The Beer Attorney. Available on Saturday June 20 at both of the brewery’s Denver taprooms, River North Unjust Enrichment is a rich, dark and malty 12.7% ABV  Imperial Stout that was aged to complex perfection in specially curated brandy barrels.
