With COVID-19 worries waning, Molson Coors is telling consumers, “It’s time for that beer,” and they’ll buy your first round next time you hookup with friends at your favorite bar or restaurant.

Here’s the deal…

Remember telling your friends, “We should get a beer when this is over?” Molson Coors thinks it’s time to start living again, and they’re offering to pick up the first round next time you’re out with friends.

With the US now in reopening-mode, Molson Coors,  home to bestselling beers like Coors Light, and Miller High Life, craftier properties like Blue Moon, Terrapin Beer and Saint Archer and imports such as Peroni and Pilsner Urquell, wants to buy you and your friends a round of beers when you’re out on the town in July.

, Molson Coors Wants To Buy Your First Round Of Beers“It feels like something we all said to friends during the pandemic. We want to get together for that beer,” says Katie Feldman, senior marketing manager for Molson Coors said to Beer & Beyond. “We are bringing all of our brands together in an effort to welcome people back to their favorite bars and restaurants, and to help those same people follow through on their promises to get a beer with friends.”

With bars and restaurants opening at a faster clip than anticipated, the fifth largest beverage company in the US wants to further ignite the*on-premise sector with an offer you shouldn’t refuse.

Now through July 31, Molson Coors will pick up the first round when friends who made plans during the pandemic get together at a bar or restaurant and order a Molson Coors product.

Consumers can participate by visiting TimeForThatBeer.com and uploading images of their receipts. They’ll be reimbursed for their purchases via PayPal or Venmo. As always some restrictions apply, and details can be found HERE.

“Now that more and more people are vaccinated and the world is opening up, we want to help give permission to people to meet up with their friends,” Feldman added. “We feel like it’s the right thing to do to motivate people to enjoy the moment, to the best of their abilities, and to do what they promised to do: get back together with people they care about.”
