Lagunitas Brewing Offers 100 Winners Dog Appreciation Parties
And who doesn’t want to party with “man’s best friend?” Especially after a year from hell thanks to COVID-19.
Here’s the deal…
Dogs have been a part of Lagunitas’ DNA since the brewery first started making IPAs back in 1993. Dogs are on every bottle of beer Lagunitas brews, and the company has been donating to dog-focused nonprofits for nearly a quarter century.
And the brewery is building upon two August celebrations National IPA Day (Aug. 5) and International Dog Day (Aug. 26) with a new “Doggy Boondoggle” promotion which will give 100 lucky dog owners the chance to thank their furry friends for their companionship throughout the pandemic lockdowns by throwing them a well-funded pet party.
Starting now and running through July 26, dog owners can enter for a chance to win by posting an image or video on Instagram or Twitter explaining why their dog deserves a party, with the hashtag #LagunitasDogContest.

100 winners from across the country will receive a $300 gift card they can use to purchase food and Lagunitas beer to fuel their Boondoggle, along with tons of party supplies and dog schwag from Lagunitas for their celebrations. And winners will be announced on August 23rd.
But that’s not all, doggone it…
Lagunitas, which is now available in 37 countries and produces the #1 best-selling IPA in the world, will also donate $20,000 on International Dog Day to Best Friends Animal Society.
“For over a year now, dogs all across the country have been supporting their humans during some pretty tough times,” said, Lagunitas BrewMonster Jeremy Marshall….
“That’s why Lagunitas wants to help fuel dog appreciation parties, or as we call them, ‘Doggy Boondoggles.’ We’re super excited to be giving a few of our lucky fans the opportunity to host something special for their pup, their friends, their pup’s friends, and everyone in between this summer.”
So it appears Lagunitas has finally “gone to the dogs” and in August 100 winners and their furry friends will be celebrating that.
