March is Red Cross Month and we here at Sun King are pretty big fans of the amazing work they do in the community. To that end we’ve got a couple amazing ways for you to help the Red Cross make a difference. March 21st we’re running a Blood Drive in our front lot downtown and if you donate we’ll give you a $5 gift card OR Opening Day tickets to the Indianapolis Indians! We’re also donating $1 on each 64oz growler fill and $.50 on each 32oz growler fill Friday at both our locations. This is one of the few win/win situations in life, do good, get beer.

Award Winning Afternoon Delight Soon Available!

Afternoon Delight is the Gold Medal winning barrel aged version of our Dominator Dopplebock . Aromas of brown sugar and molasses are accentuated with sweet flavors of vanilla and oak from bourbon barrels. Not only that but Afternoon Delight was a Gold Medal Winner in the Wood and Barrel-Aged Strong Beer category at the 2013 Great America Beer Festival™, as well as a Gold Medal Winner in the Barrel Aged Classic Style category at the 2012 and 2013 editions of the Festival of Barrel Aged Beer. It’s limited, and it’s coming to your taste buds March 23rd!

That’s right, Ring of Dingle isn’t just the best way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, it’s also a pretty fancy ingredient in some amazing cocktails the brains at Sun King cooked up for you.
