It appears that Scottish craft beer renegade, BrewDog, shares more with Stone Brewing than just attitude and a love of BIG beers – they also want their own craft beer hotel in the states.
We’ve never considered Ohio a vacation destination, until now.
BrewDog has officially launched an IndieGoGo campaign to help fund a new craft beer hotel, which they’ve cleverly named The Doghouse, and people who chip in at least $150 on Indiegogo get a free night’s stay.
Combining Disney-like theme park whimsy with a state-of-the-art sour beer facility, this new beer destination (which as at least as ambitious Stone’s planned boutique hotel) hopes to open alongside their 1000,000 square foot brewery in Columbus in 2018.
The plans for this all-immersive craft beer experience are predictably BrewDog bombastic (but all in an insanely good way).
Not only will the hotel feature beer taps in every room, but there will also fridges built into designed shower stalls so you can add serious drink to your cleansing opportunity.
The hotel’s restaurant will showcase all-beer infused cuisine 24/7. Its luxury suite will have a hot tub that can be filled with Punk IPA and its spa will reportedly feature “hop-oil pedicures, malted-barley massages, and hops-infused face mask.”
The company projects that this new complex will cost around $6 million, and we expect that this crowdfunding effort will be devastatingly successful, so you might want to book your airfare now.
