With much of the nation still staying close to home thanks to a pandemic that refuses to go away, a Colorado brewery is offering beer delivery with a festive twist.

Here’s the deal…

Littleton-Colorado-based Breckenridge Brewery, which was purchased by Anheuser-Busch in 2016 for an estimated $70 million, is putting those assets to good use this holiday season, and gifting some lucky residents in both Denver and New York City with a minikeg of Christmas Ale delivered to their homes by St Bernard dogs.

, St Bernard Dogs Deliver Breckenridge Christmas Ale In DecemberInspired by last winter’s reindeer delivery promotion, Breckenridge Brewery’s “St Beernard Christmas Ale Delivery” campaign is tasking hearty St Bernard dogs with delivery duties and expanding the campaign beyond its Colorado origins to include New York City this year.

To make these “pawsome” deliveries happen Breckenridge Brewery partnered with Colorado St. Bernard Rescue and some of the cutest mountain dogs in the nation. Plus, for every pint or ale package purchased at either brewery location, the brewer is pledging a meal to the Food Bank of the Rockies.

“From first brewing the fan-favorite Christmas Ale over 28 years ago, to delivering it by reindeer last year, we love being able to add something extra special to the holiday season,” said Todd Usry, president of Breckenridge Brewery.

“These mountain-dog deliveries are our nod to our mountain roots and the long-standing tradition of Christmas Ale.”

Starting now and running through December 12, residents of Denver and NYC can enter HERE to win a mini- keg of the brewery’s beloved Christmas Ale delivered by St Bernard dogs, a breed renowned for carrying brandy barrels up mountains to keep avalanche victims warm until the rescue teams arrive.

And while not brandy, Breckenridge Christmas Ale is a welcome 7.1% ABV Winter Warmer with rich caramel and chocolate notes, a spicy quality thanks to an abundance of Chinook and Mt. Hood hops, and a surprisingly clean finish.

It’s been a fan-favorite for nearly three decades for good reason and when delivered by a proud St Bernard, even better!

Breckenridge Brewery will abide by all social distancing guidelines and face masks will be required to ensure the safety of the winners and the employees.
